In a case of Election, when we the citizens of a country cast our votes, sometimes error occurs without us knowing and after the voting we start getting void votes and the votes are cancelled out. We don't know for sure if it was actually a void vote or it was manipulated by someone just to reduce the number of votes of a contestant and favour the opposition, but if it was a decentralized system, every citizen will be able to carry out a vote and monitor it, just like a Bitcoin transaction (if possible via the blockchain) and if there is any error during the casting of the vote we get notified and correct it before trying to cast a vote again. That way we can be sure it's a mistake from us and not when we don't know what happens to our votes after we cast them and we're just told it's void.

Counterfeiting of goods has been a nightmare to manufacturers. Not only does it reduce returns for a manufacturing company, it also tarnishes the name of a company and their product, as counterfeits are less durable than authentic goods made by the manufacturers. This might in the long run make customers start loosing faith in the product. Blockchain is the ultimate answer to this. when a goods is manufactured, a block should be addled to the chain. on this block would be recorded important details of the product like name of product, manufacturer, production date expiring date etc. attached to the product would be a scan-able QR code (hash of its block). as the product moves through the supply chains more transactions are recorded on the blockchain. This way when a buyer wants to buy the product, he can validate if the product is coming from the authentic manufacturer OR NOT.
This is a superb idea, I don't know if it's an original one but it sure is brilliant. There are lots of fake "Nike" sneakers circulating in my country and the copycats are getting better at dubbing the original to the point that it's almost impossible to detect and differentiate it's authenticity from the original manufacturer. This sure will help reduce the rate of fake products and you can easily identify an original product after scanning and yes the QR code is the best way to this. Most big supermarkets in my country also use this scan method to check the price of a commodity so the buyer can't be cheated by the sales mab by giving false elevated price. Thanks for the submission.
Corruption is a very huge challenge in charity donations. funds which are sent to impoverished or war zoned nations in many cases don't end up getting to the target. In some cases, only a minute percentage gets to a few recipient. The block chain technology can be used to curb corruption in the aspects of charity donations. Transactions of donations can be recorded on the blockchain and can be tracked from the point of which the donation was made all the way to the beneficiaries, with social contract, more donations would only be sent when there is prove that the stated conditions of the usage of the funds are met. the blockchain could also be used to keep personal identifications of refugees or internally displaced persons affected by refugees whereby a self sovereign ID would be given to them matched with their record on the blockchain so that a proper censors of IDPs can be taken and their needs adequately met.
This is really interesting because I just watched a movie titled "The saint" a 2017 movie and this was exactly what the whole movie was all about, Charity funds of over $2.5billion were to be transferred to Nigeria for poor masses but a corrupt man paid a hacker to divert the funds to another account and they succeeded. If this transaction was made via the blockchain which is highly secure, the hacker wouldn't have been able to divert the funds, no third party would have been able to ulter the transaction, so know this is a really good idea and it's going to help alot. Thanks for this submission, it's a brilliant idea.
