Despite the advancements in the technology, land records are still stored on paper in most of the nations like Africa which are kept in centralized locations by the government which vulnerable towards corruption of these land titles and even attacks to these systems which reduce the authenticity and security of land records. These would be solved not having digital records but having everything on blockchain which makes digital records less susceptible to frauds and manipulation. Since the information once entered on a blockchain is impossible to edit or delete or it becomes difficult to exploit it protected by private encryption keys which ensures that documents remain tamper-proof
