It can be a solution for fast and clean elections. Results will be instant and decentralized thus hard to be controlled or rigged by people who has intentions to corrupt specially those already in power in the government. Voters could still have their anonymity and people will have confidence that whoever will win is the one the majority have really chosen to lead them.

Blockchain is one of the biggest wallets to store cryptocurrencies worldwide. Blockchain has been running for about 7years now. Blockchain security is awesome. It cannot be easily hacked. But my challenge is, blockchain only accomodates, bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ether and stellar only. If it can accomodate more cryptocurrencies it would be awesome.

Blockchain can be used to prevent the use of pirate versions of digital goods such as music and movies. iTunes’ DRM protection can be removed easily and Spotify can be hacked. Gifto(GTO)’s Forever Rose Project was a good example for this. Forever Rose image is locked in the blockchain. It can’t be moved or copied. If this type of blockchain was used in the music industry, it would create a much more equal and fair eco system for musicians and other type of content creators.

The Shipping industry is a trillion-dollar industry globally which is affected by some various problems including delays to receive or make payments due to available delaying payment methods. Un faithful third parties and brokers This industry is also centralized since it is also controlled by various economic countries in charge. Developing blockchain-based dApps would revolutionize this industry making it decentralized. A blockchain can record and transfer data about events that occur during the supply chain process. Key data like pricing, expected ship date, delivery date, tracking status, acceptance, and other touch points can be recorded and passed among supply chain partners. The blockchain becomes the single, trusted “source of truth” for a transaction, potentially phase out duplicate documents and intermediaries.

At present, transfering money from one country to another is so costly. This is due to the centralized control of big corporations or players in the market. For example, sending money to Philippines in the form of remittance could cost up to $100 in fees for a $1000 transfer. With bitcoin or other decentralized currencies that dont require bank accounts, this fee could reduce to a dollar or less. The Philippines has more people who have no access to banks than those who do.

Most of the Health Sectors are more centralized and characterized by corruption where the rich people are favored than the poor where they are given services and attended to regardless of who visited the hospital first. In most Government hospitals, services are usually free, however due to the fact that some doctors and other medical officers are money minded, they tend to sell off free hospital equipment's and drugs. blockchain-based smart contracts can improve such weaknesses in the medical sectors by facilitating secure analysis and management of medical sectors,  A distributed ledger which is updated in real time and no central authority is held responsible to maintain the ledger. Instead, network participants keep the ledger updated. Any changes made in the ledgers are reflected within seconds. Security concerns about the transfer and logging of data transactions and, protect health information.

I have several ideas that I have thought through which can benefit from dlt / blockchain technology. One, for example would be that of the earth's anti-desertification implementations and its awareness. I feel that there is a massive amount of individuals that would appreciate any and all improvement to our world's eco-system. By having an incentive structure such as a token, which would allow many to contribute if they find value in its movement. This mechanism would also be a good feature within the platform to raise awareness while jumpstarting a network effect.

Assessments and Examinations scoring can be made more trustworthy with the blockchain and then digital certification made more authentic. The performances of whatever level of education are usually recorded in centralized servers, making it vulnerable to hackers, in-house manipulations and other means of falsifications or doctoring, without any means to account for this. With the blockchain technology, it's immutability can be taken advantage of. With any IOT device used to score students perfomances or the direct input of students performances, students and even the administration concerned can be sure that the students results come out as they truly are, without any alteration. In the cases where alteration is needed, the parties involved can come to a consensus to make the needed changes, trustlessly. Hence, results and certifications issued with blockchain based facilities will be quite authentic and original. Thank you.
